The Pacific Contractor Unit was specifically developed for a market that calls for a basic recessed wall unit which is designed to be wired directly to the room thermostat in order to control blower function. There is no aquastat with this model and no speed control either. Like the PWU, it comes equipped with a stud flange that allows for mounting the unit directly to the studs while accommodating different depths of sheet rock. This product while developed with residential uses in mind, could also be used commercially where spot heating is required in foyers and hallways.
